Evolution
I read in the local newspaper the other day that scientists have now changed their minds once again. Now they think man learned the art of upright walking in trees and not on the ground. They call this the orangutan principle, or something like that, and keep me totally confused. Now I have no idea, since they say I am not created in the image of God, where I came from. I have never really believed that my ancestors were monkey’s uncles, but maybe they were (although I sincerely doubt it). I don’t understand why these modern evolutionist can’t follow the example of their mentor, Darwin, and confess, before they are on their death bed, that they are wrong. Anyone with a smidgen of common sense knows that mankind did not originate from pond scum that eventually turned into a salamander. Since I did not major in Scumology but Theology, I just can’t accept a theory where the fundamentals change every time the wind blows from a different direction. When I see Paris Hilton on the TV or her picture in the paper, I always think of Salome, not an orangutan — [but maybe there is a little orangutan in there I just can't see].
