The Future Is As Bright As The Promises Of God

Jesus did not come to earth that there might be a Gospel to preach–He is the Gospel. Jesus did not come to earth that there might be salvation–He is salvation. He is the Life, the Door, the Alpha and Omega. In Him is life–and “when Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory” (Col. 3:4).
The only possible way for anyone to see God is through Jesus. The only way we can please God is in Jesus. He is the only one who ever pleased God upon this earth. At the baptism of Jesus, God the Father said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matt.3:17). Again, on the Mount of Transfiguration He said, “This is My beloved Son: hear Him” (Mark 9:7). Just before Jesus went to Calvary, He looked to the Father in Prayer and said, “Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, ‘Father save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven: “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.” So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, “An angel has spoken to Him.” Jesus answered and said, “This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes.”
God is highly pleased with Jesus, and when we are in Christ, God is pleased with us.

Awesome wording! “Jesus did not come to earth that there might be a Gospel to preach–He is the Gospel. Jesus did not come to earth that there might be salvation–He is salvation.” The rest of the article is great too! Check it out!
