3 reasons why God’s way is better than mine

I don’t know about you but I’m always needing a reminder why God’s way is better than mine. It usually takes me falling on my face or getting into trouble to remember. So here’s a few reason that maybe we can all turn to when we become impatient or we are about to make an unwise decision.

1. I’ve never regretted waiting on God, but usually regret jumping the gun.

EVERY time I ask God for direction and I have patience, I realize it was for the best. But when I feel lonely or depressed and make a decision based on my desires without really consulting God, I end up regretting it. I at least learn from the mistake, but realize it lead to confusion and chaos.

2. When I start truly living by faith, I see God’s promises come true.

Because Of Christ’s Sacrifice

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (NASB)
This verse tells us what to do when we have sinned–we must confess that we have sinned and need forgiveness.
Then if we confess, God promises to forgive. He takes care of that sin once and for all. He restores our relationship with Him…
At the center of forgiveness is always the cross of Christ. Without His body on the cross, forgiveness would not have been available. Forgiveness is costly, and we need to see it from that perspective. There is no forgiveness without tears, without a price to be paid, without the sacrifice of Christ.
Because of Christ’s sacrifice, sin need not defeat us…
Though we cannot eliminate the temptation to sin, we are not left without redemptive resources. God is on our side, Jesus is advocating for us, and the Holy Spirit is making us aware of our weaknesses as our Teacher and Guide. David McKenna
