The Future Is As Bright As The Promises Of God

“But just as it is written, ‘Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.’ For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NASB)
Salvation is totally of God, from God, by God, through God, and without God there is no salvation. Jesus said to His disciples, “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22).
God is not found by searching; He is not found through wisdom; He is not found in a laboratory on a slide under a microscope nor in a test tube. The eye of man’s perception cannot see the things of God. The ear of man’s concentration cannot locate God. The brain of man, no matter how filled with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, cannot figure out God with His love, mercy, and longsuffering toward man. The things of God are made known only through the Holy Spirit: “But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised” 1 Cor. 2:14 (NASB).
The natural man, regardless of how much education he may have, cannot understand God, cannot appreciate God, and cannot receive God. The very desire to be saved is planted in the heart through the power of the Holy Spirit and hearing the Word of God: “So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ” Romans 10:17 (NASB).
