Psalm 65:2-3 O you who hear prayer,
to you all men will come.
When we were overwhelmed by sins,
you forgave our transgressions.

Here we have what are perhaps the two most attractive things about God: He hears prayer and He forgives sin. Prayer is a feature of every religion, but it makes a huge difference when the object of that prayer is alive and listening! David knew this so well that He used that characteristic of God as a title, addressing Him by it. It only stands to reason that all mankind would gather to such a God. On top of that, God forgives sin. There is a world of difference between forgiveness and indulgence. God doesn’t excuse sin, but He forgives those who are repentant on the basis of His Son’s sacrifice on the cross. David didn’t know about Jesus and the cross, even though He wrote prophetically…

amazing love – a love which waits – unconditional love – a love which is undivided – trusting You – never alone  – you hold my hands – you stand beside me – no hate – never lying – never judging – never misleading – unlimited joy – unlimited peace – you forgive – unlimited freedom – You created me – You guide me – You surround me – You bless me – lovedforgivensaved – because of You

(some short thoughts I had right now, about the amazing God)

Everybody who surrender and ask for forgiveness, will be forgiven. Close your eyes, talk to Him. God loves you no matter what happened before. He just waits for you to realize that you belong to Him. So that you will enjoy being part of the family of Christ. You will never be alone, you will never be…

angucia's Blog

Are you saved/born-again? To be saved is to be redeemed. In the previous blog post “Redemption in Jesus Christ”, I explained what redemption means – to be set free from the consequences of sin. The Greek word to save “sozo” is translated to mean – to bring into safety, to cure, ensure salvation, to get well, to be preserved, to restore, to be delivered… it is much deeper than just the surface word to save. What does this mean? Before you are saved you’re life is filled with afflictions from adversaries. The sin nature (the origin of sin) revives in the inside of you. Spiritually you are dead.Image

How does one become saved then? On hearing the gospel people get convicted by the Holy Spirit (person on God) of the wrong t hat they have done (John 16:7-8) which leads them into confession. This is a personal decision one…

The Lord Knows The Way Of The Righteous

“How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path of sinners, or join a group of mockers! Instead, His delight is in the LORD’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night. He is like a tree planted beside streams of water that bears fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
The wicked is not like this; instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not survive the judgment, and sinners will not be in the community of the righteous.
For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.”
Psalm 1 (HCSB)

This whole Psalm offers itself to be drawn into these two opposite propositions: a godly man is blessed, a wicked man is miserable; which seem to stand as two challenges, made by the prophet: one, that he will remain a godly man against all comers, to be the only Jason for winning the golden fleece of blessedness; the other, that albeit the ungodly make a show in the world of being happy, yet they of all men are most miserable.

The Gospel According To Jesus – Part 102

“Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.”
