The Future Is As Bright As The Promises Of God

What A Day That Will Be!

“Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.” Jude 24 (KJV)
Jude ends his epistle with a benediction, which is a prayer of praise to God. The focus of praise is first upon the mercy to be revealed at the Second Coming of Christ, when we will stand “before the presence of His glory” at the judgment. What an amazing thing will then occur! In the splendor of God’s perfect holiness, our sins will stand out in sharp contrast. But our Savior, Jesus Christ, has covered our sins with His blood, and they will not show. By the boundless mercy of our God, we will stand there as if we were “faultless.”
Standing on the precipice of eternity, experiencing the ultimate bestowal of grace, it is an understatement to say that we will be filled with “exceeding joy.” We can experience some measure of that joy in this life, for our present walk with Christ is one of “joy unspeakable and full of glory” (1 Peter 1:8). How much greater will be the thrill of walking with Him, not by faith, but by sight!

The Gospel According To Jesus – Part 105
