The Future Is As Bright As The Promises Of God

The Final Sacrifice

“Being justified by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:24 (NASB)
In Hebrews 10:26 we read, “For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.” In other words, there is no other sacrifice that can be offered. The supreme, acceptable sacrifice has already been offered, so there is nothing man can offer. The only thing God desires of man is that he exercise faith in the one sacrifice Jesus made. This makes it possible for fallen man to approach God and find forgiveness and fellowship–and an eternal home in the Father’s house. We do not bring sacrifices today. We simply approach God, by faith, on the grounds of that which has already been accomplished. Thus the supreme issue between God and man in this hour is not character or morality, but the relationship between man and God’s Son, the attitude man sustains toward God’s Son. When man has the right attitude toward and acceptance of God’s Son, character and morality automatically fall in line as man becomes a new creation.
