The Future Is As Bright As The Promises Of God

The Devil Doesn’t Care

“Be of sober spirit, be on the alert.  Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.”  1 Peter 5:8 (NASB)

The devil is more shrewd than most people realize.  He is a formidable enemy of the truth–and if he cannot lead a preacher into liberalism, he will persuade him to ride a spiritual hobby-horse every time he goes into the pulpit.  He will lead a preacher to spend precious time upholding his own opinions and his own theories.  Man-made tradition is so full of loopholes that when compared to the Word of God it can be quickly discovered as man-made tradition and not divinely dictated truth.

The devil doesn’t care how long, how fervently, nor how sincerely a man may preach, so long as that preacher is void of words that bring salvation.

The devil doesn’t fear the man who preaches man-made doctrine and dogma, rules and regulations, leaving out the words that tell the sinner God loves him, Jesus died for him and stands ready to save, to forgive, to keep, and to direct.

“See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.” Colossians 2:8 (NASB)

Praise God, He’s given us the victory over this adversary. Thanks for your words today.

  3. His mission is to destruct us so that we do not inherit our promises. When we soften our guard and ignore the distructin on our people we give the devil credit.
