“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:20 (NASB)
True Christians are pilgrims and strangers in a strange land. Not only is our citizenship in heaven, but positionally we are now seated in Christ Jesus in the heavenlies. We are dead, and our lives are hid with Christ in God. We belong to the Church of which Jesus is the head and foundation. We have been translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s Son. We are, truly, citizens of another world.
