The Future Is As Bright As The Promises Of God

“After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10 (NASB)
Suffering Christians have not been rejected, not forsaken by God. They are recipients of His sustaining grace. Suffering is only for a little while. On the other hand, the glory that awaits the faithful servants of Jesus Christ is eternal.
Our God is loving, powerful, and faithful. Having obtained our salvation at such a great price and having called us through the preaching of the Gospel. He will never abandon us, no matter how dark our surroundings may seem.
Even though our new life in Christ does not render us immune to the attacks of Satan, we still trust God because of who He is.
“For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comprehension, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NASB)
