“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20 (NASB)
Since Christ is our life, since we possess divine nature, since we are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, since we have our sufficiency in Jesus and are complete in Him, it is our duty to reveal Christ to all as we pass through this world on our journey to the Pearly White City.
We are living epistles read of men. Jesus came from heaven’s glory, from the Father’s bosom, to declare God to man. He declared the love of God in all that He said, in all that He did, in every miracle He performed. And since we are commanded to take up the cross and follow Him, walking in His steps, it is our solemn duty (as well as our privilege) to present Christ to all, through the things we do, the words we speak, the songs we sing, the places we go and the company we keep. We are dead to this world, and we are alive unto God.
