An Unfailing Blessing

All of our errors and failures that
we made in the course of the day
Are freely forgiven at nighttime
when we kneel down
and earnestly pray,
So seek the Lord in the morning
and never forget Him at night,
For prayer is an unfailing blessing
that makes every burden
seem light.

The Secret Of Peace

The secret of peace is to give every care to God.

Was Jesus A Good Man?

“Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.'” John 8:58 (NASB)
If Jesus was not the Son of God, no preacher should ever call His name from the pulpit. If Jesus was not God in the flesh, no preacher should ever end a prayer in His name or even mention His name when praying to Almighty God. If He was not God — He was not good.
If Jesus was just a good man and not the God-Man, He had no authority to forgive sins. And if Jesus did not have the authority to forgive sins, I do not know where to recommend that you go for forgiveness.
There is no other who would dare claim the authority to forgive sins. If Jesus were not all He claimed to be, you must carry your load of sin all the days of your life and with it face a holy God at the end of life’s journey. The finite can never satisfy the infinite. Man cannot satisfy a holy God. Deity can be satisfied only by Deity. If Jesus were not divine He could never have satisfied the demands of Almighty God. It takes holiness to satisfy holiness.
“Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.” Psalm 25:8-10 (NASB)

Good Directions

When Your World Falls Apart

When your troubled and
worried and sick at heart
And your plans are upset
and your world falls apart,
Remember God’s ready
and waiting to share
The burden you find
too heavy to bear.

Proverbs 3:5-8

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not rely on
your own understanding;
think about Him in all your ways,
and He will guide you
on the right paths.
Don’t consider yourself to be wise;
fear the LORD and turn away
from evil.
This will be healing for your body
and strengthening for your bones.
Proverbs 3:5-8 (HCSB)
