Be Faithful To Christ Whatever The Cost

“But if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.” 1 Peter 4:16 (NASB)
For the Christian, hope is not wishful thinking. It is a solid certainty, a confident expectation because of what God has done, is doing, and will do in Christ.
Every year tens of thousands of Christians around the world die as martyrs for their faith. Others suffer ridicule, social rejection, and financial loss because they have chosen to stand for Christ and His principles. Regardless of what kind of suffering we may experience, we must live lives that glorify God. We must refuse to compromise so that we can merely get along. If we compromise our convictions, our greatest persecution may come from our own conscience.
