I don’t know about you but I worry a lot. I’m being very honest here today. In the grand scheme of things I have learned a very valuable lesson. Beginning today I will no longer worry about anything. By worrying about things I’m holding on to the things that only God can take care of . Read this, Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.
God is the one that supposed to be handling all of these things in my life. instead of trusting God and having faith, I’m breaking my head trying to do it on my own. Read this, Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things…

Cheerful Devotion

I delight to do Thy will, O my God: yea, Thy law is within my heart. Psalm 40:8 (KJV)
Devotion is really neither more nor less than a general inclination and readiness to do that which we know to be acceptable to God. It is that “free spirit” of which David spoke when he said, “I will run the way of Thy commandments, when Thou hast set my heart at liberty.” People of ordinary goodness walk in God’s way, but the devout run in it, and at length they almost fly therein. To be truly devout, we must not only do God’s will, but we must do it cheerfully.
