Exodus 17:3 (AMP)But the people thirsted there for water, and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to kill us and our children and livestock with thirst? 

Sometime we don’t even really look at complaining as a sin, or even a problem in our lives. Everyone complains. The question is, how much of a habit have we formed when it comes to complaining. If you complain a lot, start praying about that.

We need spiritual maturity more than we need a miracle. When we are spiritually mature we are happy regardless of what our situation is. God was sending food out of the sky and these folks were complaining to Moses. I would call that a miracle – and these folks complained about their miracle. True Faith Looks To God For Everything

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 (NASB)
It is the nature of faith that it walks where it cannot see clearly and that it trusts in promises not yet fulfilled. The person of faith is called to commit fully before all the facts are known. True faith relies completely upon God’s character and God’s promises–believing His Word, asking no questions, demanding no explanations, requesting no signs or wonders. It is the only way the true believer can do business with God. The God who loved us and gave Jesus to die for us, the God who saves, keeps, sustains, and watches over us, asks only that we trust Him.
