The Future Is As Bright As The Promises Of God

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation…” James 1:12 (KJV)
If God allows us to fall into temptation, we should remember that “the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment” 2 Pet. 2:9 (NASB).
If we believe the Bible, we believe that God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent — He is everywhere. He sees all, and He knows the end from the beginning. Therefore, if God loves us so much that He gave Jesus to die for us to keep us out of hell, certainly His love does not stop when He sees one of His children being put to the test by the devil. God can keep us from the hour of temptation (Rev. 3:10) — but if we fall into temptation He is able to deliver us: “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.” 1 Cor. 10:13 (NASB).
