The blood of lambs, doves, pigeons, bullocks, could not take away sins

“The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and he said, ‘Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!'” John 1:29 (NASB)
By His death the Lamb of God met all of God’s claims upon the sinner who deserved eternal death and damnation. Jesus took the sinner’s place and suffered all the agony, all the misery and woe of an eternal hell, that we might be set free through faith in His finished work.
Jesus made full and perfect atonement. The sacrifice He offered pleased and glorified God, and God placed His stamp of approval upon the finished work of Jesus when He raised Him from the dead and placed Him at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Now Jesus Christ is the Living One. Since He was dead and is alive again, He can bestow eternal life upon all who come to Him.

Only God In His Greatness Could Fashion A Mother’s Love
