I Know The Answer

We must admit that people in our time hold many erroneous views regarding Jesus. It is important to have some knowledge of these views, so that we can correct them. For example, we may learn that someone holds the view that Jesus was no more than a great moral teacher. We must show that Jesus’ moral teachings cannot be separated from His divine authority (Matt. 7:28, 29). Other people regard Jesus as an ordinary, fallible human being. They deny the reality of His miracles, and they explain away the fact of His bodily resurrection. We must demonstrate to them that the Gospel writers are credible, dependable eyewitnesses. We can trust the writers when they describe Jesus’ healing the sick, raising the dead, and exercising power over nature. We can accept their testimony that they saw and heard Jesus after His death and resurrection.
